Resumry AI is built around the principle that your career documents are private. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the controls you have. We've tried to write it in plain English — please contact us if anything is unclear.

What we collect

We collect three categories of information: (a) account information you provide when signing up (name, email, plan), (b) the content you create or upload (resumes, cover letters, job descriptions), and (c) usage metadata such as session timestamps, device type, and feature interactions.

How we use it

We use this information to operate Resumry — to generate documents, run ATS analyses, and personalize your dashboard. We use anonymous, aggregated metadata to improve the product. We do not sell your data, and we do not train AI models on your uploaded or generated content.

Where it's stored

Documents are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). They are stored in SOC 2 Type II-compliant infrastructure hosted in the United States. You may request data residency in the EU or Canada on the Business plan.

Your rights

• Access — download a copy of all your data at any time, from your account settings.
• Erasure — permanently delete your account and all associated documents.
• Portability — export resumes and cover letters as PDF, DOCX, or plain text.
• Correction — edit or correct any of your stored information at any time.
• Opt-out — disable analytics, marketing emails, or third-party integrations.

Third-party services

We use Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for CDN, and a major cloud provider for compute. Each is subject to its own privacy and security commitments, summarized on our security page.

These terms govern your use of Resumry AI. By creating an account, uploading documents, or generating content through our service, you agree to the following. We've kept it short, plain, and human-readable.

Your account

You must be 16 or older to use Resumry. You're responsible for your account credentials and any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Resumry to (a) create fraudulent or knowingly false credentials, (b) impersonate another person, (c) infringe anyone's intellectual property, (d) reverse-engineer our service or AI models, or (e) abuse our infrastructure (e.g. automated scraping, denial-of-service).

Content ownership

You retain full ownership of the content you upload and any documents Resumry generates for you. We claim no copyright or rights of redistribution. We are granted a limited license only to process your content to deliver the service.

Subscriptions

Paid plans renew automatically at the cycle you select (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You may cancel anytime from your Billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase.

Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance. We will credit prorated amounts for any extended downtime as outlined in our SLA (Business plan only).

Limitation of liability

Resumry is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost employment opportunities. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes are communicated by email at least 30 days in advance, with an opportunity to cancel before they take effect.
